Wedding and Party Planning Tips

Planning a large party, whether for a wedding, birthday, anniversary or retirement is not as stressful as some people want to make it. If you like your invitees and they like you, how could anything go wrong? Here is some info to help in planning your event.

Wine & Champagne Serving Sizes

  • 750 ml = 5 servings
  • 1.5 liter = 11 servings
  • 5 liter box = 32 servings
  • 750 ml for toast = 8-3oz servings

Helpful Hints

  • Drink what you like!
  • Keep it simple 1 Red , 1 White and 1 Blush.
  • Expect 75% of your group to drink 2 glasses of wine.
  • When choosing champagne, sweet is usually better.
  • For a smaller group, it might be fun to have a magnum or individual splits of champagne.

Liquor Serving Sizes

  • 750 ml = 17 mixed drinks
  • 1 liter = 21 mixed drinks
  • 1.75 liter = 38 mixed drinks

Helpful Hints

  • Expect 50% of your group to drink 2 mixed drinks.
  • Have a Rum, Bourbon, Gin, Vodka, & Scotch, Vodka being the most popular and versatile.
  • Don't forget mixers- juice, soda, tonic.

Beer Tips

  • Expect 75% of your group to have 2-3 beers each.
  • Don't forget the Non-Alcoholic beer for the non drinkers.
